I am Gabriela Bandeira, a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. I am registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, with the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Marriage and Family Therapists and Clinical Professional Counselors and with the Florida Department of Health. I am a bicultural therapist with extensive experience working with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I was born and raised in South America and have lived in the United States for 28 years. I offer short and long-term psychotherapy for individuals, children, adolescents and families and develop a specific treatment plan to meet the needs of each one of my clients.
I am a strong believer that psychotherapy and counseling are a means toward improved health and well-being. Healing and restoring our strength and sense of self in the face of challenging situations is important to our human development. I feel honored to do this work and privileged to be called upon to accompany individuals on their journey.
